Steff Metal artwork features the Corpsepaint kitties, a fat old Metallicat, some froliking goth girls, sinister vikings and all sorts of slightly dark and random creatures.
I specialize in quirky dark art with a graphical, illustration quality. My favorite subjects are cats, cemeteries, archaeology, castles, wild abandoned gardens, caves,
I have a rare genetic eye condition known as Achromotopsia, where my eyes have no cone cells. I am completely color-blind. As in, I see in shades of grey. Because of this, I have a unique perception of what a coloured world would look like, and the colors in my paintings tend to be very bright and vibrant.
You can see my current art for sale in the Steff Metal Etsy shop. Prices are in US dollars. I refund shipping prices if it costs less than I’ve quoted.
After I’ve sold the prints I’ve already made, I’m no longer doing prints of my work (expect a few VERY limited edition runs), so every piece is a unique, one-of-a-kind original artwork. I sell some pieces as greeting cards and postcards – you can see them all in my shop.

I love working on commissions – a unique painting especially for you.
If you like my style but want a custom-made, one-of-a-kind painting, I am happy to take on a commission. I love creating unique, one-of-a-kind pieces for wedding gifts, housewarming presents, or to commemorate special events in your life. Don’t think only large corporations and millionaires commission artworks – what about a statement piece to hang over your fireplace, a wedding portrait for a just-married couple, or a gift for your daughter when she buys her first home?
As an up-and-coming artist, my rates are very reasonable. Seriously, you have no idea how reasonable. Email me!
Please be aware that because of my eye condition, I cannot match colors exactly to source material.
