For someone who identifies as an introvert. I love to talk. Get me started about a subject I’m passionate about, and you can’t shut me up. You will discover this when you attend one of the workshops, events, and keynotes I give throughout the year. You’ll also get a ton of actionable advice, sordid tales from the trenches, and some giggles.
Here’s where I’ll be in 2018:
SOULCircles for Girls (Takapuna Friday 9 March, Newmarket 8 April).
SOUL (Sources of Unconditional Love) is an amazing charity creating programmes for girls to help replace prejudice with support and love. As a SOUL Ambassador, I’ll be speaking at these intimate SOULCircle gatherings to a group of teenage girls about following their dreams and using their creativity to create positive change.

Hire Steff for your writing workshop, corporate event, or inspirational keynote.
Need a dose of punk-rock cheerleading as you start on the perilous path to writing and publishing your novel? Want to discover insider tips on building a successful indie publishing career? Need to inspire an awesome event with a story about overcoming impossible challenges? Keen to introduce your marketing team to the power of content and storytelling?
Allow me to introduce myself. I’m Steff Green, a USA Today bestselling and award-winning author and senior marketing professional who can speak with flair and passion about writing, telling your story, diversity, digital content, finding your voice, productive habits, empowerment, and making your dreams come true.
I provide polished keynotes and detailed workshops that leave attendees’ heads buzzing with ideas and inspiration. And I do it all in a pair of scuffed docs and an Iron Maiden t-shirt.
I’m a regular workshop convener at the Romance Writers of New Zealand annual conference, and I frequently appear at writing events and festivals across Auckland and the rest of New Zealand. I’ve taught weekend writing workshops through Rutherford College for more than five years, and mentor students one-on-one to help prepare their manuscripts for publication.
I love to travel. If your event is in some far-flung corner of the globe, I’m definitely interested!
“I’d long since given up on being a writer, but Steff’s workshop gave me the confidence to pull my manuscript out of the drawer and see its real potential. She outlined all the options, and thanks to her advice, I can now call myself a published author.” – Helen Rodriguez, writing student.
