Gothic Wedding Photo Shoot

Kvlt Fashion, Plunder, Steff

The other week, I got together with a bunch of wonderful creative friends to put together the first Gothic Wedding Planner photo shoot. The veils in these photographs came from May Rey Designs, a stunning designer with an alternative bent. I know this probably won’t interest a lot of you – not nearly enough goats – but I thought I’d share it with you so you could see what else I’m up to. If you click through to the Gothic Wedding Planner blog, you can add a comment to win one of the two veils from the shoot.

We took these photos in Westen Park, Ponsonby.

We had a blast taking these shots – after 4 hours of makeup and styling at my house beforehand. I catered for everyone – sausage rolls, sweet and savory muffins, my amazing sticky chocolate cake – and we threw black clothing everywhere.

The house was chocka!

But don’t fear – I have a couple of AWESOME projects for Steff Metal coming up … And just yesterday I had an idea for a fantastic Steff Metal photography project … it’s a surprise, but I promise it will be hilarious. I’ve just got to talk to a man about a duck to make it happen.

Very cool shots. I love the background settings in the outdoors photos and the overall Victorian style of so many of them. The one of Iris with the umbrella is probably my favorite, such style and creativity.

I’m head-over heels for this series of photos. Everyone looks gorgeous, the dresses are fantastic and the makeup is luscious. I especially like the shot of Genevieve up against the tree. Just amazing.
