• Grymm and Frostbitten Lands – An Update

August 8th, 2009 | Cthulhu Closet, Grymm and Frostbitten Lands, Steff

A quick update on my life at the moment.

I’m sitting in the living room of CDH’s aunty’s living room, writing while CDH and Johnowar debate science fiction books. We’ve been having a relaxing couple of days in Stoke-on-Trent, since we’ve been motoring through Europe at the breakneck pace. We’ve gone from Wacken down to Belgium, to Brugges (the most beautiful and frustrating city in Europe). Then, when we had stuffed ourselves so full of chocolate we could take no more, we hopped on the Dover to Calais ferry. THEN we (read: CDH) drove our campervan up the country to York, where we spent an amazing couple of days clambering over castles, eating in pubs with dodgey names (hello the “cock and bottle”) and going on a ghost tour.

Steff in Brugges. Did you know there are over 50 chocolate chops in Brugges?

A little Cthulhu’s Closet for you. When I was hanging around York (getting oogled by creepy old men, apparently) I was wearing:

      GLP pleated skirt
      Simplicity white ruffled shirt
      Glassons beige top
Purple and black dotty socks from the Sock Shop at Wacken
      Boots

    Happy Steff

We are very poor, but very happy. Three weeks of the trip over, ten more to go :) I still have intermittent internet access, and I’m behind on my 234 emails by … quite a lot. But keep reading and commenting – I’ll get to things eventually!

    Super Love and Shoggoth Kisses
    Steff
