\m/ Listening to new and fantastic metal bands \m/ Massive Jam of Doom happening in our basement, followed by Fish and Chips and movies. \m/ getting paid for freelance jobs and seeing our German account grow :) \m/ Going back through all our trip photos for my articles this week – I can’t WAIT to go back \m/ free desks from my husband’s work \m/ porridge with cinnamon, sultanas and bananas \m/ River Cottage cookbook – making my favorite spicy lamb pie \m/ My Mac is back, sans rogue SD card, and works just as well as ever \m/ my office is a tip, and I DON’T CARE \m/ Reading “The Spirit Level” as part of my work. Quite a fascinating book. \m/ Our wonderful friend Amy (of Northwic) has made us some rad covers for our Kobo ereaders, and she’s making me a new winter coat! \m/ Doing my first Etsy swap with Holly from Orda Atra Serpentis clothing. I got my Chaotic Ouroborus shirt in the mail yesterday and it fits perfectly :) \m/ Whitikas Dark Ghana chocolate \m/ Reign in Blood \m/

I’m having quite a sad time, with some personal problems and things that haven’t turned out as I would have liked them to. So I’ll follow your advice and count my blessings. Let us see… My friend Mary finally got her working visa for UK so things will start looking up for her and her husband. Argentine Tolkien convention is next weekend. Sonata Arctica will be playing in Buenos Aires in October and I’m getting my ticket today. The new Blind Guardian album is awesome. The new Skiltron album is awesome.
That’s the spirit – sometimes it makes you feel better to realise not EVERYTHING in the whole world is terrible.
I haven’t seen Sonata yet, but I love them! I hope you have the best time!
thanks! I hope you can see them too soon. They are AWESOME live! They came here in 2008 and it was incredible. And one of my friends, who absolutely loves sonata, is in one of the support bands so it’s an extra happy detail.
