    October 4th, 2010 | Linking Horn

I am back from my sojourn in the sunny Hawke’s Bay, refreshed and ready to fill your week with metal and mayhem. I have spent 3 days relaxing on the couch with Father Metal’s Ozzy Osbourne records, Bill Bryson’s Neither Here Nor There, my Siamese cat, and Lindt chocolate, with occasional breaks to eat roast lamb and babysit my awesome nephew. So if you’d wondered where I’d gone …

    Pass the Linking Horn!

The 7 Most Horrifying Museum on Earth. I thought I would have been to at least one of these, but no, I haven’t. I think the creepiest one is by far the Ventriloquist Museum. *shudder*

Surrealism – these Germans will help you warp your room.

Hot Rockabilly wedding featuring lots of beautiful tattoo details.

George Orwell vs Aldous Huxley. I read their seminal works in high school and I am definitely in the Orwell camp.

Queen Michelle profiles one of my favourite clothing labels ever – Anti-Sweden. I visited their headquarters in Oslo and would have brought some jeans if they hadn’t looked like complete arse on me. I am KICKING myself for not buying a shirt – thought I would do it online, but I cannot get their website to work. Anyway, Anti-Sweden are awesome – a tongue-in-cheek response to Swedish labels Acne and Cheap Monday.

Kita – drummer for Lordi – has been kicked out for unmasking himself. Shame.

The boys of No Clean Singing have done it again – a post on Goblin Metal, which I SO wish I’d written first. I’ve been loving the Necrogoblicon for years now.

Also, I am starting a new blog. You have been warned.

What are you reading / listening to / doing this week? I have a special surprise planned for you tomorrow :)

So glad your visit to Hawke’s Bay went well, and thank you for the nice comment about our Goblin Metal post. Should have known that you’d be into Nekrogoblikon for years before us!
