Also in fucking awesome metal news, Iron Maiden’s website counted down today to the announcement that their new album “The Final Frontier” with some of their best cover art yet, will be released on August 16. The first sinle, called “El Dorado” will be available as a free download.

We’re All Sluts. This is a topic of frequent conversation around feminist circles. “Slut Bashing” or calling other women sluts, either to their faces or behind their back. I’ve never really encountered this firsthand before, as I have a pretty awesome circle of peeps, and don’t tend to associate with people who sit around bitching. But, “If you can’t say anything nice, don’t say anything at all” applies here, and if this is something that you’re a victim of, remember name calling says more about the person doing the calling than the person being made fun of.
