Apparently, Metallica are Messengers of God. I wonder if Metallica are aware of this. I really, really want to get my hands on this book, “The Day Metallica Came to Church”.

“So my wife and I went to METALLICA and had an experience there, in a very deep communal sense that these people are all sharing a lament and a feeling of injustice about how screwed up the world is.

I think what he’s cottoned onto is the universal truth of metal – he understand what it is about the emotion in more extreme forms of music (not that Metallica are all that extreme anymore) which appeals to people, and he’s connected that emotion to his belief system, which I admire. That is all for today. I am horrible. I am meant to be writing my novel – I have a new idea for a project – something awesome. But it’s soooo much work, and I have no time, but I can’t get it out of my head. So I’ll probably do it anyway.
