Meet Diya – she writes In Her Stilettos – a fashion blog heavy on studs, spikes, leather, and short skirts. She works in the metal music industry on the side, and her boyfriend’s a musician. In short, she’s pretty krieg.

So when she emailed me to ask if I’d do a guest post, of course I said yes. Unfortunatly, I had so much to say on the topic she asked me to write about, I spent two months writing this mammoth 5000 word essay, which I then had to whittle down to a more readable 900 words.

Hey, long time reader, first time commenter. I loved the post. Is there any way we could read the full version? I want to know what else you had to say on the subject!

Not to fear, I will be working the other material into a series of posts on the subject. I’ve got FOLK METAL week next week, so they’ll probably go up the week after that. :)

The bf also said he would like to see the 5000 word one… haha. He said the 900 word one was really good but doesn’t do metal justice :)
