Metal Fashion: Bad Love Leather

Kvlt Fashion

Time for a bit of metal fashion inspiration, courtesy of the motorcycle riding, metal-listening, leather artisan behind Bad Love Leather.

Travis Poole specializes in leather goods made from exotic animals. He studied under one of California’s top leather craftsmen and has been creating his handmade wallets, cuffs, handbags and belts for more than ten years. All his leather pieces are handmade by him in the USA, and he’s happy to take on custom work if you’ve got a particular design in mind.

And, just in case you were in any doubt about whether you are buying quality, Travis guarantees his leather goods for LIFE.

This 2.5 inch black cuff is one heavy-duty piece of metal bling. As Travis says, “No Wimpy Stuff here”. I love the red stripe.

I am eyeing up the Oily black Norton Stud Belt.

This is sex in a belt.

And, the Gladiator Cuff is also awesome. Just like the cow this came from, it is SERIOUS MEAT.

Wearing leather is not for everybody. I am a personal believer in ensuring that if you kill and eat animals, you don’t waste anything, and if you’re going to craft with and wear leather, you should invest in tough, sturdy pieces made by real craftsmen and women. Bad Love Leather definitely fits in that category.

You can buy cuffs, belts and other leather goods from the Bad Love Leather shop, or visit Travis’ website to learn more about his process. Tell him Steff Metal sent you.

Note: some cows were harmed in the making of this post, and I don’t receive any profits from Bad Love Leather.
