Many of you know I’m a HUGE fan of the ridiculous rock musical Repo: The Genetic Opera. Well its creators Terrance Zdunich and Darren Bousman have just released a trailer for their new project, a sideshow-themed piece called The Devil’s Carnival. I’m not really a fan of the carnival aesthetic or stories, so I’m not sure if this will be as good as Repo, but I will watch it because I am rather a fan of Terrance’s sexy voice. The carnival will also be going on the road with a 30 city tour. You can watch the trailer on the Devil’s Carnival website here.

I’m loving Leticia’s new series called Commuter Review – where she reviews albums in the context of listening to them on her commute. I don’t listen to music on the train – usually, I’m reading instead – but I love to concept of reviewing albums based on the context in which you listen to it. Check out her review of Sigh’s In Somnophobia Candlelight.

Life after Long-Term Unemployment. Here’s why this is funny:
“A few words about the free coffee machine: It gives you coffee. For free. People in the office will go to the good coffee place and buy lattes and offer to buy you lattes. But then you’d have to reciprocate. You’d have to buy lattes. And why would you buy lattes when this coffee is free? You come into work every day thinking about that machine: When is too early to get your first free coffee? What mixtures of caffeinated and decaffeinated would enable you to drink the maximum number of cups of free coffee in a given day and still sleep that night?”
