Even if you’ve never heard of Inquisition (and that would make you a CRAZY person), you should go, just because that poster is SO FUCKING WICKED. I will be there – that is all. (More details on the Inquisition NZ show Facebook event, and tickets from Chaos NZ)
Internecion presents “Rites of Abomination” – a two day festival featuring some of the most decimating kiwi and Aussie acts. Tickets are on sale here, and at just $33 for two nights, it’s a pretty sweet deal.
And if you haven’t had enough of extreme metal, black metal band BULLETBELT will be embarking on their first NZ tour (called “Writhe and Ascend”) in Feb – here’s where you can catch them:
Atwaters Music works in Auckland is hosting a guitar clinic with Animals as Leaders guitarist Tosin Abasi. This clinic will be in-store on Wed Feb 22nd, doors open at 7pm for a 7:30 start, and tickets are $15 from the Atwaters. Check out the Facebook event for more info.
August Burns Red and Bless The Fall are playing two shows in April – Sat 14 at the Kings Arms in Auckland, and Sun 15 at San Francisco Bath House in Welly. Opening bands are Saving Grace and A Plea For Purging. Tickets are on sale from Real Groovy or Under the Radar.
System of a Down and Dillinger Escape Plan will be playing an all-ages show at Trusts Stadium in Auckland on Wed 22 Feb. Tickets HERE.
And, Lamb of God, the Black Dahlia Murder and Unearth play together at the Studio in Auckland, on Wed 7th March. Tickets HERE.
